That aside, my parents are proposing that I rectify said situation post-haste with an application for a change of name. Which surprisingly is no small fee. There's some government fee, a finger print process fee, and taking the actual finger prints and what not. It totals about $200 ish, give or take.
$200 is no small sum... although after being in University... $200 goes by pretty quickly.
It'll be another thing to do in my spare time from (the lack of) studying. Just like blogging! Or playing video games! Or slacking!
Anyways, it's quite a bit of work... and it's no mere sum of money... so then I might as well ponder.... do I really want to stick with my current name? There's certainly very little music with it. It does not thrill. It produces absolutely no vibrations.
Perhaps...I should just go with Ernest.
Lol.
In other news...
Playing squash with different people is... interesting. I can't read them at all! Which is sort of fun because being able to read someone becomes no fun at all. Except that even though I know where it's going guarantees little for if I'll be able to make it there and return the ball.
I think my optimal duration of studying is about... 3 hours. Then I need a break. I'm however... failing at ending said break. Oh the failures of willpower. Speaking of willpower... oops. =___=". 'pologies.
So Metroid Prime. A new iteration of the Metroid series on Nintendo's Gamecube. The Prime series did something very different from all the previous Metroid games, and that was 3D. No, not the silly movie stuff (that I can't view, sadly), but as in the game is played within a 3D world rather than a 2D one. Retro Studios did a good job of bringing the feeling of exploration as well as Samus' staple weaponry into the game despite its transition into 3D.
The thing I liked the most in Metroid Prime was the ability to 'scan' your surroundings. This allows you to locate objects of interest, solve puzzles, determine the weakness of your opponents, or just give you more back story about the location that you're in. The ability to scan things really brings Metroid Prime's world to life, especially since there is a lack of dialogue within the game. Also, Samus' Phazon suit is badass.
Beat the game in about 11 hours, not collecting everything though because that would take too long (although I'm a huge fan of collecting things in games > <"). Speaking of which, I'm almost done playing the second Metroid Prime game. More to follow.
Oh snap. There is only a week left.
Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Gah. Gah? Gahahaha.
