It's hard to judge whether or not Princeton was good in the sense that I have never taken an MCAT prep from another company, nor any prep courses in general. Without a reference point, how do we go about judging something? Base value I suppose.
In terms of materials provided, Princeton provided us with a lot of stuff. Textbooks, practice questions, practice passages, access to old MCATs as well as their own tests that are structured the same are all things that they have prepared for us. It's a lot... and I'll never get through all of it. Now provided that I had started when the course itself started, and kept up on a weekly basis, this probably would not have happened.
In terms of teachers, I was probably expecting.... more? I somehow envisioned us being taught by a bunch of extremely knowledgeable professor types that were ...hardcore or something. Instead, our teachers were really just people that are in that field or have taken the prep course before. Not to say that the teachers don't know their stuff... but I was hoping it'd be a bit more professional. They (most of them anyways) taught pretty well. Especially the General Chem and Biology teachers.
So now what?
Another 14 days or so till I write the test. There hasn't really been much improvement in practice test scores either. Maybe I'm not understanding the material? Maybe I don't really understand how the questions work? Or maybe I just don't understand.
It's going to be a mess of frustration, studying, more frustration, self-bashing, anger, a bit of studying, reviewing, giving up, a dash of frustration, and maybe testing how hard the wall is against how hard my head is.
Oh right. More dreams. But none of them make sense. Nor does my mind. The thoughts... clash. Despite understanding the concept and the reasoning, the mind refuses to accept it.
Whatever.
To the library.
