Hailstorms

Are brilliant.

They're like the awesomeness of thunderstorms crossed with the epicness of giant balls of ices flying everywhere.

Rain.
Cleanses everything, washes it all away, it's like the nectar of life. Acid rain aside.

Thunder.
A brilliant flash, streaking across the sky, an intense clap to announce its arrival. Physics aside.

Hail.
Solid water, soaring through the air, it crushes all. Property damage aside.

That aside... the damage all around the city and on everything was intense. Cars dented, windows broken, leaves and branches torn apart, banners ripped to shreds, sewers clogged, and all that chaos.

It was really nice to hear frenetic rhythm of rain and hail.

Calming. Somehow.
