Now I'm back.
I think I had a dream about being telekinetic once. It was...sort of weird because I didn't have full control of it. Anyways, being telekinetic, I was able to move things with my mind... including myself. The setting was surprisingly my elementary school, although I have no idea why I would be there. Random comic mischief took place, but the only prominent thing that sticks out in my head was that I was trying to make myself fly. Then I failed and skidded in the grass. Ow.
Also, when I was a kid, I was rather interested in being able to control the elements: Lightning, ice, and fire were the prominent ones we always thought of. Now that I think about it, those might've been spurred on by the start of Pokemon during my elementary years. Actually, it's sort of ridiculous to think that Pokemon is still on nowadays and their games are still selling like crazy.
Anyways, elemental control. For some reason I was obsessed with lightning out of all of those. I'm not sure why. Maybe I also attributed it with speed since I was one of the faster kids back in the day. I've slowed down since then. I've also changed my elemental tastes to Wind (this has absolutely no correlation with Naruto, I've had this preference long before they introduced elements in their world, not that they've done much with it).
Wind... maybe because it's so...free.
Another superpower thought about was Mind Reading. I suppose it would have its pros and cons... but I hardly believe it's worth it. I'd be able to know what's going on between people and act accordingly, never say the wrong thing, always know how to fix your problems, never fail to please... but the cost. It's an intense invasion of privacy for one part.
My thoughts are well..mine. You're reading this because I'm typing this here. Whatever you find, you find because I've placed it here. Whether subliminal or not, the fact that I've put something on here means that I want it to be found or deciphered. If it's not around, I doubt it's something I'd want you to know about. Half the things I don't talk about or don't mention... are probably rather twisted and messed up.
Likewise, I'm sure everyone else has things they don't want us to know about...so what right should I have in invading their thoughts? Maybe we're not speaking our minds out of courtesy and respect. If people could see all my thoughts for what they are... I'm sure I wouldn't have that many people around me at all.
I think my point was lost somewhere after I got carried away.
In other news...
It's snowing in Calgary. That's rather messed up. I want more light rain.
Not really sure how workload is balancing out, but I know that it's tilted to the side denoting fail. It's hard to get the mind in the working mood. I just want to... sleep and not think.
Tutoring is... ridiculous at times. Most times actually. I wonder how many times the same mistake can be made. I wonder how many times I have to tell them to ask me questions during the periods that I'm not there...especially if their exam is the next day and they don't understand something. I wonder how many times I need to re-explain the same concept. I wonder if it's worth my time, even though I'm getting paid.
Ordered more random things online. Books and whatnot. Less than half of it is for me though. I sure hope it all arrives soon. It's rather exciting.
Hard to believe that a third of the semester has already passed. Fast.
